A local Book is stored on this iPhone. An iCloud Book uses your Apple Account’s CloudKit storage. Check the Book’s storage status before expecting it on another device. Moving a local Book to iCloud is an explicit choice in the app.

Select the Book, then open Settings → Export Book as CSV or Export backup file. Use CSV for spreadsheets and a backup for restoring a Book with its supported details. Store the file securely and check it before deleting an original.

Open People for a shared Book. The Owner controls sharing; Admins can manage people where supported. Members can collaborate on entries. Full shared editing and people management require iOS 26 or later. Older supported systems show shared Books read-only.

Use Settings → Leave Book if you’re a participant. As the Owner, Settings → Delete Book removes the Book and its records for you and affects other participants. Export a backup if you need one, then read the confirmation before proceeding. Use sharing controls when you only want to change access. Other people may have kept exports or copies of information they could previously view. Revoking access cannot retrieve those copies.

Open a transaction to review, edit or delete it. Changes to shared records can affect other participants. Deleting an app from one phone is not the same as deleting an iCloud copy; manage cloud storage through the app’s Book controls and your Apple Account settings.

Use iPhone Settings to manage camera and Photos permissions. Pause a destination in Pennyhush or disable its personal automation in Shortcuts to stop new captures. Review entries can be dismissed without posting them to a Book. Consider what financial information you choose to display in widgets.
